Aroma : Powerful with a touch of vanilla. Primary notes are of pepper and nutmeg.

Taste : Evident but smooth tannins assure a promising evolution.
 
Aging potential : 15 years.
 
Percentage of alcohol : 12.5%.
 
Serving : Perfect with game (venison) and other strong red meats, such as boar and deer. This wine is best decanted prior to serving.
Vintage 2000 : Coup de coeur GUIDE HACHETTE 2003.
Vintage 2001 : Silver Medal at the concours Général Agricole de Paris 2003.

Winemaking
Vinification of whole grapes per grape varietal followed by 18 days of racking. Maturation in oak casks for 10 months.
